Pool Construction Manager Job: Lead Our Team to Build Stunning Outdoor Spaces in Byron Bay

Byron Bay Ranga, a leading landscape construction company in Byron Bay, is seeking an experienced and passionate Pool Construction Manager to join our team. About the Role

As the Pool Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of pool construction projects, from quoting and planning to execution and completion. You will ensure that projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards and safety protocols. You will also live in close proximity to travel around the Northern Rivers, or are happy to relocate.


Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.

  • Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and other personnel involved in pool construction. Including all hiring, performance management and team meetings.

  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that construction work meets high-quality standards and adheres to safety regulations.

  • Permitting and Compliance: Ensure that all necessary permits and licences are obtained, and that construction activities comply with local building codes and regulations.

  • Supplier and Vendor Management: Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

  • Cost Management: Monitor project expenses, including labour, materials, and equipment costs, to ensure they align with the allocated budget.

  • Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or requests.

  • Safety Oversight: Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel involved in the project.


 

Key Skills & Experiences

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

  • Construction Expertise: In-depth knowledge of pool construction techniques, materials, and equipment.

  • Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.

  • Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively lead and motivate construction teams.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and address challenges or issues that may arise during construction projects.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions, team coordination, and project documentation.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with local building codes, permitting processes, and safety regulations related to construction.

  • Experience: Several years of experience in pool construction or related construction management roles, with a track record of successful project completions.

  1. Project Timeliness: Ensure that pool construction projects are completed within the specified timelines.

  2. Budget Adherence: Manage project budgets to ensure that costs stay within the allocated financial parameters.

  3. Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards in pool construction, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulation

KPIs (Key Performance Indicators):

  1. Project Completion Timeliness: Track the adherence to project timelines and deadlines.

  2. Budget Variance: Monitor project expenses to ensure they align with the allocated budget.

  3. Client Satisfaction: Measure client feedback and satisfaction scores on completed projects.
