Functional Low Maintenance - Coopers Shoot

Byron Bay Ranga was contracted by a family in Coopers Shoot to create a functional outdoor space that catered to their entertaining needs and required low maintenance.

We worked closely with the family to understand their requirements and developed a customized landscaping plan that met their needs. We constructed veggie boxes using hardwood sleepers that were raised for easy maintenance of their vegetable garden. The fire pit area was created using a large basalt rock and a copper light for drinks and food, providing a cozy atmosphere for gatherings. Additionally, we created a sunken trampoline area that blended seamlessly with the rest of the landscape.

By utilising native plants and installing an automatic irrigation system, we ensured that the outdoor space required minimal upkeep. The lawn was installed with empire zoysia to provide a year-round green space with reduced maintenance needs.

The result was a functional and low-maintenance outdoor space that met the family's needs. The veggie boxes provided fresh produce, while the fire pit area became a popular gathering spot. The trampoline area provided a safe space for children to play while keeping them within sight of the adults.

The customised design ensures the family now has a stunning outdoor space that they can enjoy without the hassle of maintenance.
